Typhoon Hits Okinawa

This year’s typhoon season has started already, with Okinawa currently dealing with an extraordinarily strong storm. After last year and the many big typhoons, including one that hit the Tokyo area, it looks like 2020 might also be a bad year for intense weather. Typhoons like this can cause delays and other problems with transport and other infrastructure – especially in the airline industry. Flight delays and cancellations are common, so it is up to everyone to be aware of any weather situation they might be caught up in, for work or holiday travel.
